Beaver Hills/River’s Edge Cuboree 2017

Date: 26-27 May 2017 (To Be Confirmed)

This camp has been running for over 15 years and is popular among participants, OOS, and Scouters alike.

The theme for this year’s camp will be determined at the kickoff meeting.

The early bird registration ends April 5th, 2017and the regular registration ends May 3ed  2017.  The early bird and regular registration fees will be decided at the kickoff meeting.

Wednesday April 5 7pm-9pm

at the RCMP Strathcona Detachment,

911 Bison Way, Sherwood Park, AB

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow as a Scouter and to become involved in the greater Scouting movement. Scouters from any section may participate and are encouraged to do so. Please come to the meeting to see what it is all about and consider signing up for one of the many roles available.

Groups have the option of coming for the weekend or just for Saturday.

Location: CFB Edmonton (To Be Confirmed)

This past year the Beaver Hills Area was divided into two Areas: Beaver Hills and River's Edge, so this camp will be a joint Beaver Hills and River's Edge event.

The Cuboree is a weekend Jamboree and is open to all Cub Packs in the Northern Lights Council. There is a limited amount of space at the camp, therefore it is a first come first served camp with priority going to Groups that provide OOS.  Groups will be considered registered once their registration fees have been paid.

This Cuboree is a fun filled event with challenging programs, games and projects.

With the location on the outskirts of the city, the camp provides an opportunity for the first time campers to experience camping and learn from long time campers.

Each Cub Pack must be self-contained – they will supply all their required tents, food, water, cooking facilities, and equipment.

The programs are run by Offer of Service Scouts, Ventures, and Rovers, with supervision by Scouters.
